Stockwire

Post and Rail Fencing

Post and Rail Fencing

Stockwire Fencing is a cost-effective and reliable solution for securing livestock, horses, or dogs. It consists of treated stakes spaced according to your preference, with strong stockwire stretched tightly and secured to strainer posts. Various mesh styles and heights are available to suit different needs.

Traditionally, stockwire posts are set directly into the ground and backfilled with compacted earth or installed using a post knocker, allowing for easy replacement as timber naturally ages. Since the posts support only the wire and not large panels, they are less affected by wind, making this method durable and practical. While concreting can help keep posts upright, it does not prevent timber from absorbing moisture, so our approach ensures long-lasting performance while maintaining flexibility for future maintenance.

Post and Rail Fencing

Post and Rail Fencing

Post and Rail Fencing

Post and Rail Fencing, also known as Sussex fencing, split rail, or cleft rail fencing, is a classic open-design fence made from two or three cleft chestnut rails attached to morticed softwood, oak, or cleft chestnut posts. For added security, stockwire can be included to keep pets contained.

Heights are typically around 4 feet, but can be customised to suit your needs. Posts are traditionally set directly into the ground and backfilled with compacted earth, allowing for quick and easy replacement as timber naturally ages. Since the posts support only rails rather than large panels, this style is resilient to wind. While concreting posts can help keep them upright, it does not prevent timber from absorbing moisture, so our installation method ensures durability and practicality while maintaining the fence’s classic look.

Deer Fencing

Equestrian Fencing

Equestrian Fencing

Deer Fencing is similar in design to stockwire fencing but stands 2 meters tall to prevent deer from jumping over. It provides a durable, cost-effective solution for protecting gardens, farmland, or property from wildlife, while maintaining the same practical installation and maintenance benefits as traditional stockwire fencing.

Equestrian Fencing

Post and Rail Equestrian Fencing is a durable and practical solution for fields, sand schools, and stable areas. Constructed with timber posts spaced 6 feet apart and fitted with double or triple curved or square-cut softwood rails, it is designed to withstand contact from larger livestock. This style of fencing is cost-effective for covering large areas while providing strength, safety, and reliability for equestrian and agricultural environments.
